The reserve overlooks the majestic Drakensberg mountain range in the Limpopo Province is a scenic highlight with jay-dropping views. It is bisected by the perennial Makhutswi River, a tributary of the Olifant’s River, and includes approximately 10 km of the Selati River frontage. Trees to look out for in the reserve include the yellow fever tree, Sycamore Fig Tree, Jackal Berry,  the knob thorn, the mopane tree, sweet thorn, buffalo thorn, silver cluster leave, red bushwillow, brown ivory, leadwood, weeping wattle tree,  wisteria, zebra wood, weeping, Boer bean, njala tree, matumi, cadelebra tree ,tamboti, Shepard's tree.

Tucked away between "The Greater Makalali Private Game Reserve" and "Pidwa Private Game Reserve", this remote location provides the perfect opportunity for the safari adventurer to get up close and personal with the Big 5, an abundance of other amazing wildlife, fauna and flora, in a scenic, authentic bush setting.
